Scope of the Services

Vanuncle.lk is a paid service and this is not free service. The website allows users to find service providers online, and allows service providers to advertise to website visitors, customers online. Under these terms and conditions, the vanuncle.lk only provide third party details and do not hold any responsibility of any parties and their activity. The Services only include matching the users with service providers, or allowing service providers to advertise their services to customers. To obtain service providers contact details users has to subscribe to the website and this will charge daily basis subscription. To subscribed to the website, customer should provide Dialog or Mobitel Contact number and Mobitel users will be charged Rs. 5+Tax per day and Dialog users will be charged Rs.6+Tax per day until they unsubscribe the service. when a customer subscribed, they can see the any transport service provider and their contact details.

From time to time the Website will generate automated emails to Users, or Users will send emails and messages to one another through the Website. Emails sent by the Website or through the Website are considered a part of the Services and are covered by these terms and conditions.

The website facilitate to find contact details of transport services and passengers/users, but the Services do not include managing disputes related their activities. if a customer and a service provider agree on terms, a Contract is formed directly between the Customer and Service Provider.

The Facilitator collects payment from Customer upon the acceptance to provide the service to the Customer. No responsibility will be taken by VanUncle.lk after the facilitation procedure.

Responsibility

The users bear full responsibility for conducting searches and contacting suitable vehicles/drivers that align with their required route and service category. Vanuncle.lk serves solely as a facilitator of user requirements by displaying relevant contact details of relevant parties. We shall not be held accountable for personally sharing contact numbers with users or coordinating between drivers and users. If users are unable to find suitable transportation through the vanuncle.lk website, we are not liable to refund any financial commitments.

After activating the service, it’s the sole responsibility of the user to access the service via the Vanuncle.lk website. SLT-Mobitel / mSpace Team and Dialog Axiata/ Dialog Idea Biz or vanuncle.lk, shall not be responsible for refunding service charges if the customer fails to do so.

All vehicles available on our platform are provided by third-party owners, and we do not hold any responsibility for activities or interactions that occur among drivers, passengers, users, and vehicle owners.

When users submit passenger requests, we publish their details and contact numbers on the website. Vanuncle.lk disclaims any responsibility for issues arising from this disclosure, as drivers, users, and passengers retain sole discretion and authority over the sharing of sensitive information.

Warranty and Indemnity

The Facilitator does not represent, warrant or guarantee that:

• Any User is reputable, or will act in good faith, or according to their terms of engagement.
• Any information on the Website will be complete, reliable or accurate.
• The User’s access to the Website will be secure, available or uninterrupted.

Limitation of liability

Information, opinions, statements and content on the Website are provided for information purposes only and are not legal, financial, taxation, technical or expert advice. They must not be relied on by a User without first obtaining independent advice.

The User releases the Facilitator and its directors, agents or employees of any liability arising (whether directly or indirectly) out of the information provided on the Website or through the Website or any errors in, or omissions from information on the Website.

The Facilitator will not be liable under any circumstances for any special, consequential, incidental, indirect costs or damages, litigation costs, loss of data. The Facilitator will also not be liable under any circumstances for any loss arising out of reliance on the information on or provided to the User through the Website or provided to a User by another User on the Website, nor any interruption, delay or impairment in the functioning, operation or availability of the Website, exposure to or transmission of any computer virus, internet access difficulties in connection with the Website, or malfunction in equipment or software.

Member Account

The User must notify the Facilitator immediately if they become aware of any unauthorized use of their username and password.
